Role Play Exercise - Cape Wind

This is a role play exercise for groups of 6-7 students to help them understand different perspectives in a sustainability debate. Introduce the topic, hand out roles, and allow 20-30 minutes for groups to attempt to come to consensus. Then debrief in full class. Cape Wind is a famously controversial proposal to place a large wind farm off Cape Cod. A documentary film also exists on the subject called Cape Spin; I usually show classes the trailer at the end of our session.
