Sarick Matzen

Bio:
A former community farm manager, I work with community and urban agriculture groups to identify sustainable methods to clean up urban soils so they can be used for food production. I investigate contaminant and nutrient cycling in plant root zones. Currently, I focus on arsenic removal with the brake fern, Pteris vittata.
